Underfloor heating is a floor heating system the equipment consists of a network of hydraulic tubes embedded directly in the concrete slab of the house.

There are several types of heated floors, the main ones being the following:

Electric underfloor heating: It is based on a network of heating cables which act as an electrical resistance. Therefore, the cable is connected to the household electrical network and covered with an insulating layer.
Hydraulic floor heating: It consists of circulating hot water in a network of hydraulic pipes. This circuit is connected to a boiler or heat pump and covered with insulating panels
The biggest advantage of underfloor heating is comfort. In fact, the heat is distributed evenly throughout the house, thus avoiding cold areas.
